Immaculates' mission continues with its transition to a Housing First Model. This is a process which will transform the organization from providing solely emergency shelter and services to offering permanent supportive housing as a solution. This year the number of individuals in their own apartments doubled from last year to 70 people served. Currently, Immaculate provides supportive services to participants of the Casa de Francisco Housing Program through a team approach. Members of the team include; a mental health practitioner, an employment coordinator, housing specialist and several case managers who provide generalized services to clients. |

Hundreds of Hartford' most vulnerable population have established trusting relationships with ICHSC staff over their years on the street and at the shelter. Immaculate is committed to continuing to provide intensive, supportive outreach and shelter services while developing housing options that are the path to the ending of homelessness for the hundreds of men who for far too long have had not place to call home and no stable foundation to rebuild towards community reintegration. |
